About GVS Grameena Vikas Sangham is a registered community development organization located in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. It works towards achieving comprehensive village development through empowerment in villages. GVS intends to bring about a real and lasting change in all dimensions through an active synergy of efforts of the locals, social activists, and philanthropists, and its distinct programmes. Grameena Vikas Sangham developed a customized, micro-development plan to address the needs of village, resources available in the village. In order to benefit the people of below poverty line (BPL), a comprehensive profile of the village with regard to health, education, economic conditions, women empowerment, and nutrition, has been prepared with the help of social activists and subject experts. Grameena Vikas Sangham urges the community’s moral, volunteer and financial support to the historic movement and seeks encouragement in spreading the movement across the villages of Andhra Pradesh, in the national interest.
